Unit Vision
The unit strives to enhance performance quality and achieve excellence in applying local and regional standards to support the competitiveness of the institute locally and regionally.
Unit Mission
The unit aims to lead continuous development processes of the institute's quality assurance systems and monitor and evaluate institutional and academic performance to elevate the competitiveness of graduates.
Strategic Objectives of the Unit
- Fulfilling the requirements of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation as a prelude to applying for accreditation.
- Continuously spreading the culture of quality among all institute affiliates.
- Contributing to capacity development for all institute affiliates.
- Helping enhance community confidence in the institute's outputs.
- Developing monitoring and performance evaluation systems.
- Conducting self-assessment processes according to accreditation standards.
- Following up on the implementation of development plans in light of periodic evaluation results.
Role of the Unit and Work Determinants
- Participating in raising awareness among various internal parties about the concepts of quality and accreditation.
- Publishing and promoting workshops and seminars related to quality.
- Identifying training needs for leaders, faculty members, their assistants, and administrators regarding quality.
- Coordinating with the training unit for internally and externally organized capacity development courses.
- Studying training unit reports and evaluating training programs to take appropriate actions and present them to the unit manager.
- Raising awareness among faculty members, their assistants, administrators, and students to spread the culture of quality and develop internal systems for quality assurance at the institute, while defining mechanisms for internal and external review and periodic performance evaluation.
